1. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to provide our services:
- Information you provide: full name, phone number, email, message/notes when booking, contacting or chatting with us.
- Booking details: apartment, check-in/out dates, number of guests, add-on services, payment method.
- Payment information: QR bank transfers are processed by your bank/payment provider; we do not store your card number, passwords or bank security codes.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, pages viewed - collected automatically via cookies and analytics.
2. How we use your information
- Process and confirm bookings; support you before, during and after your stay.
- Send booking confirmations, check-in instructions, invoices/receipts.
- Improve our website, services and customer experience.
- Send offers/promotions where you have opted in (you may unsubscribe anytime).
- Comply with legal obligations (accounting, tax, guest registration as required).
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your data based on: your consent; performance of the accommodation contract you request; our legal obligations; and our legitimate interests in operating and securing our services.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as necessary with:
- Operational providers: our booking management system, data storage and website hosting partners.
- Online travel agencies (OTAs): when your booking originates via Agoda, Booking.com, Airbnb, Trip.com, etc., under their policies.
- Banks/payment providers: to process transactions.
- Competent authorities: where required by law (e.g. guest registration).
These partners may use your data only for the purposes we authorise and must keep it confidential.
6. The DingDong Homes mobile app
The DingDong Homes app (iOS and Android, package name vn.dingdonghome.app; published on Google Play under the developer name Belldor) is a work tool for Dingdong Homes staff, property owners and cleaning partners. There is no public sign-up - accounts are issued by our administrators. When you use the app, we process:
- Account information: name, email, role and sign-in history - to authenticate you and control access.
- Push notifications: your device's notification token (Apple Push Notification service / Firebase Cloud Messaging), device model and app version - only to send work notifications (new bookings, guest messages, cleaning tasks). You can turn notifications off in your phone settings.
- Camera: used only when you choose to take a photo to attach (cleaning photos, incidents, receipts, messages). Photos are uploaded to our storage; the app never opens the camera unless you tap to take a photo.
- Microphone: used only when you tap voice input or call the AI assistant. Your speech is converted to text by your operating system's speech service or our AI provider; we keep only the text and do not store audio recordings.
- Technical data: device identifier, last active time and the screen currently open (so we don't send duplicate notifications while you are using the app), and error logs to fix problems.
- Work content you enter (notes, messages, photos) is stored on our servers; what you send to the AI assistant is passed to our AI provider solely to process that request.
The app does not collect location, contacts or advertising IDs, does not sell data and does not use data for advertising. To delete your app account and associated personal data, send a request using the details in the Contact section; we will delete it, except data we must keep under accounting/tax law.
7. Data retention
We retain data for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and as required by law (e.g. accounting/tax records). When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Under Decree 13/2023/ND-CP, you have the right to:
- Know about and access your personal data.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion, withdraw consent, or object to/restrict processing.
- Lodge a complaint with the competent authority if your rights are infringed.

9. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures (HTTPS encryption, access controls, limiting staff access) to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. However, no system is completely secure; please keep your booking/login details confidential.
10. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect children's data; if found, we will delete it as required.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy over time. The latest version is always posted here with its update date. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
